Texas Frightmare Weekend 2027
About the event
Texas Frightmare Weekend (often abbreviated TFW) is an annual horror, science-fiction and pop-culture fan convention held each Memorial Day weekend in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. Founded in 2006, it is consistently billed as one of the largest horror conventions in the United States, drawing horror fans, filmmakers, collectors and celebrity guests from around the world.
The convention began at venues in Grapevine and later the Hyatt Regency DFW Airport (2012-2022) before moving in 2023 to the larger Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas, 500 West Las Colinas Boulevard, Irving, Texas.
