All American Youth Horse Show 2024
All American Youth Horse Show, Columbus, Ohio
All American Youth Horse Show
In 1968, the All American Youth Horse Show was created to raise funds for a county-fairground in central Ohio. The first show was funded by several members of the Horse Advisory Committee using their own money.
The first show took place at the Ohio Expo Center for two and a half days. As the Ohio Expo Center expanded, the show grew with it. Now attracting exhibitors from Ohio and other states around, the show has grown along with the Ohio Expo Center. What started out as a 2 1/2 day event in two arenas has grown into a four day multi-judged event with 4 arenas. It also offers a variety classes to meet the changing interests of exhibitors.
The non-profit show, which is always run by volunteers, has helped many exhibitors. It offers scholarships to applicants and sponsors incentive programs, where exhibitors can get a refund on their entry fees and stall charges. Volunteering their services to the show has also benefited several non-profit organizations. The Ohio Horseman's Council and Mike Rogers & Associates, as well as the Franklin County 4-H Horse Committee are among those who have volunteered their services.
