Welcome to the 19th Annual HENDRICKS County RIB FEST & BBQ. Hendricks County Rib-Fest, which began in 2005 as a family event for the Avon Community, has grown to be a local tradition that draws people from Hendricks County. The event includes live entertainment, kids' games, hot air balls, food, and fireworks. Local celebrity judges will be judging local restaurants for "Best Ribs", "Best Sauce", and "Best Overall" by the participating restaurants. The community is also invited to participate in the 9th annual Rib Run, sponsored by Duke Energy & IU Health West. This event includes a 5k race followed by the Riblet Kids Run.
