The PAPER & BIOREFINERY (PBC), which has been held in Graz for many years, is a well-established industry highlight, focusing on topics of particular importance to the future of this sector. We, as the organizers, invite you to join us in Graz on May 15th and 16, 2024.
This year's PBC offers a varied programme, with a focus on climate, sustainability, and environmental protection. The event is complemented with an exciting trade fair where innovative partners from our industry showcase their products and services and invite visitors to connect. In this year's awards, the Austrian paper industry will be focusing on its efforts to meet the EU climate targets and decarbonise within the Green Deal framework. It will also focus on its ability to maintain its competitiveness internationally while balancing its global efforts. As an industry, we are well aware of our responsibility to nature and society. This responsibility is a part of our everyday lives. We think and act sustainably in all aspects. We have set ourselves bold goals that we are pursuing assiduously. Our green path to a bioeconomy is based on renewable energy, resource efficiency and a circular economy.
