Sougwen Su Jun Chung, a Chinese-Canadian artist/researcher based out of London, is Sougwen Su Jun Chung. Chung's work focuses on the mark-made by-hand and mark-made by-machine to understand the dynamics of humans as well as systems. Chung was a former researcher fellow at MIT's Media Lab, and a pioneer of the field human-machine cooperation. She was named Woman of the Year in Monaco in 2019 for her achievements in science and arts.
Pixar Animation Studios co-founder Dr. Ed Catmull served as president for 33 years. He also served as president for Walt Disney Animation Studios 13 years. Catmull's New York Times bestseller \"Creativity Inc.: Overcoming The Unseen Forces that Stand in the Way Of True Inspiration\" was published in 2014. Catmull is an ACM Turing Award Laureate and has received five Academy Awards including two Oscars, a Lifetime Achievement Award, and two Oscars. Catmull was the founder of three of the most important centers for computer graphics research, including the computer division at Lucasfilm Ltd. as well as Pixar Animation Studios. Catmull has been an ACM SIGGRAPH participant since nearly 40 years. Catmull is a member of ACM SIGGRAPH, the National Academy of Engineering and the Visual Effects Society. Catmull received a B.S. Catmull received a B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in physics, computer science, and computer science from the University of Utah. He has also received honorary doctorates at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Utah. He retired in 2019 as President of Pixar Animation and Disney Animation, and is still active in writing and speaking.
