The National Folk Festival pays homage to the Traditional Owners throughout Australia, recognizing their connection with land, water, and community. We pay respect to their cultures and elders, past, present and emerging.
We acknowledge in particular the Traditional Custodians (or Custodians) of the Lands on which our annual Festival takes place. The Ngunnawal People and their Elders, past, present, and emerging. Their continuing culture, and the contribution that they make to our region.
