FIA Conference 2027
The FIA Conference is the flagship annual event of the Fundraising Institute Australasia (FIA), the peak professional body for fundraisers in Australia and New Zealand. Described by the organiser as the largest gathering of fundraisers in the Southern Hemisphere, the conference brings together nonprofit, charity and fundraising professionals from across Australia and the Asia Pacific for three days of masterclasses, workshops, sector networking, exhibition and plenary sessions.
The 2027 edition celebrates the 50th anniversary of the FIA Conference under the theme "Imagine What's Possible". It will be held from 24 to 26 February 2027 at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach, Queensland. Program highlights announced on the official registration site include masterclasses on gifts-in-wills strategy, CRM transformation, board engagement, data and analytics, AI tools for fundraising teams, mid-value and major donor programs, plus healthcare philanthropy workshops, exhibition hours and an opening plenary.
The previous edition, FIA Conference 2026 (theme "Impact Amplified"), took place in late February 2026 in Melbourne. The conference is an annual professional-development and trade-style exhibition event for the fundraising sector.
