Tuesday is the day for the lavender industry to hold their program.Registration to be Available This FallThe Great Lakes ExpoThe Great Lakes Fruit, Vegetable, and Farm Market Expo and Michigan Greenhouse Growers Expo will be a great opportunity to learn about the latest in greenhouse growing and produce.Great Lakes Horticulture is predominantly family-owned, multigenerational, and owner-operated. In the Great Lakes Region, over 1 million acres are planted with vegetables each year. 147 Michigan farms with more than 250 acres of vegetables. 279 Michigan orchards are larger than 100 acres.On the show floor, it's easy to find the decision makers. Over 1,000 attendees are from outside Michigan. The trade show in itself is a premier event. Over 800 booths and 400 vendors are available.Over the course of three days, 70+ educational sessions and workshops are scheduled. The program includes sessions on greenhouses, specialty crops, farm marketing and more. For more information, please see our September brochure. Many of the sessions will feature Michigan State University and other universities' specialty crop researchers.
