Development2030 - Beyond the UN SDGs

Development2030 is an interactive international development conference held in Hall 4 at Palexpo, Geneva, co-located with AidEx, the world's leading humanitarian aid and disaster-relief exhibition. Together the two events welcome more than 3,000 international development actors, NGOs, foundations, development finance institutions, impact investors, donors, UN and EU organisations and multinational companies under one roof.

Format

There are no panels, presentations or pitches. Instead every session is a moderated, participatory discussion in which all delegates contribute, focused on a small number of goals for the year. The programme addresses the unprecedented turbulence in the sector - including the dissolution of USAID and wider donor cutbacks - and maps collaborative frameworks for international development beyond the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Next edition: 20-21 October 2027

The 2027 edition takes place on Wednesday 20 and Thursday 21 October 2027 at Palexpo, Rte Francois-Peyrot 30, 1218 Le Grand-Saconnex, Geneva, Switzerland, a short walk from Geneva Airport and a few bus stops from the city centre. The official site currently publishes the dates and venue for the 2027 edition; the detailed agenda, speaker list and daily opening hours are still to be announced.
