Affordable Art Fair Melbourne 2027
Affordable Art Fair returns to Melbourne for its seventh edition at the Royal Exhibition Building, Nicholson Street, Carlton VIC, Australia, from 26 - 29 August 2027.
The official fair listing on affordableartfair.com confirms the next Melbourne edition for 26-29 August 2027, with exhibiting galleries joining from around Australia. The fair showcases a wide variety of original, contemporary artworks priced up to AUD$10,000, continuing the format of the 2026 sixth edition, which brought together more than 70 galleries from across Australia and beyond at the same Carlton venue.
Visitors can expect family-friendly workshops, evening events, panel discussions with artists and gallery owners, live painting demonstrations, installations and free facepainting, plus complimentary wrapping so art can be taken home the same day. The fair also runs dedicated programmes such as Discover: Young Talent for unrepresented artists under 35, and features First Nations work through partnerships including Warlukurlangu Artists Aboriginal Corporation.
Opening times for the 2027 edition have not yet been published by the organiser; for the 2026 edition the fair ran Thursday First Look from 12pm, Opening Night 5pm-9pm, then 10am-9pm on Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
