TEAMS Conference + Expo — TEAMS '26

TEAMS (Travel, Events and Management in Sports) is the world's leading conference and expo for the sports-event industry. Launched in 1998 and presented by SportsTravel (Northstar Meetings Group), TEAMS '26 will be held October 26–29, 2026 at the Birmingham-Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) in Birmingham, Alabama, hosted by the Greater Birmingham CVB.

The event draws more than 1,300 participants, including CEOs, executive directors and event managers from sports organizations, as well as representatives from sports commissions and convention bureaus. Key features include 11,300+ one-on-one appointments between sports-event organizers and destinations, hotels, venues and suppliers; 300+ active RFPs; an exhibit hall described as the most dynamic deal-making environment in the sports-event industry; a golf tournament; the SportsTravel Awards; and access to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic SportsLink program.

Host hotels include the Sheraton Birmingham Hotel and The Westin Birmingham, both directly connected to the BJCC, with additional partner hotels nearby. Key deadlines for TEAMS '26: Sept. 1 — exhibitor and sponsor registration, booth sign and directory listing; Sept. 30 — appointment portal opens; Oct. 2 — hotel reservation deadline.
