SCWA is proud to announce that Emmitt, a Pro Football Icon and KEYNOTE SPEECHER for 2024, has been selected.
Emmitt is one of the best players to have ever played the game. Smith, a 1990 NFL Draft first-round selection, was the cornerstone for the Dallas Cowboys' offense for 13 years. Smith, who played 15 seasons in the National Football League as a runningback, set many records which still stand today.
Smith began his career as a TV football analyst. He then went on to win the ABC show Dancing with the Stars' third season.
His list of achievements also includes authorship, with the publication of Game On. This book outlines the principles which helped him achieve success both on and off-field.
Smith is now a businessman, entrepreneur, who runs several companies in the real estate, technology, and construction industries. He has been active in charitable outreach both in the Dallas region and nationally, offering educational opportunities and unique experience to underserved young people.
