Midwest FurFest 2026 (Bark to the Future)

Midwest FurFest is an annual convention in Rosemont, Illinois (west suburbs of Chicago) celebrating the furry fandom—art, literature and performance based around anthropomorphic animals. It is produced by Midwest Furry Fandom, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Next edition: December 3–6, 2026, theme Bark to the Future. Official site invites attendees to join at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center for guests of honor (Betamonkey, Zesty, and Snuffles), panels, a redesigned Hall A Dealers Den, dining, and a social hall.

About the organization: Founded to give the community a place to educate themselves in anthropomorphic arts and to raise funds for nonprofits that promote the wellbeing of humans and animals. The convention has grown since 2000 from a few hundred attendees to more than 17,000, and reports over $900,000 raised for charities.
