Summer Celebration is Indiana Black Expo’s largest event, which showcases Black Culture throughout Indiana. It has been running for 53 years. IBE is a state pillar and its priority focus areas are economic equity, education equality, community empowerment, health equity. The Summer Celebration proceeds will support IBE year-round programs, such as its Education Conference and Black Business Training Institute. They also help fund the Scholarship Fund, Performing Arts Academy (Performing Arts Academy), Community Learning Hub (Community Learning Hub), and many more.
