The Clear Lake Gem, Mineral and Jewelry Show (51st annual) runs Feb 28–Mar 1, 2026 at the Pasadena Convention Center, Texas. The event features a balanced dealer floor with tools, raw lapidary materials, hobby books, mineral and fossil specimens, and a wide range of jewelry from costume pieces to high‑grade opals, diamonds and emeralds. Family‑friendly activities include the Gem Mine sand‑digging station (free bucket of gem‑bearing gravel per child), a Hands‑On jewelry‑making craft table (first item free), lapidary demonstrations, a Dinosaur Guy presentation, and occasional Rock Food tables. Educational programs for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts support geology merit badges, and a special program for scouts is led by Trina. Past special exhibits have included a lunar sample, meteoric display and NASA space‑walk suit. Admission is $7 for adults (both days), free for kids ≤ 5th grade and scouts in uniform; free parking and volunteer opportunities are also offered.
