The 30th Annual Cabin Fever Model Engineering Expo (Jan 15‑16, 2027) showcases a wide range of model engineering specialties. Highlights include gas, steam, and hot‑air engines; steam boats displayed in a large indoor pond; airplanes, trains, cars, and live‑steam railroad layouts. A miniature dragline area features hand‑made RC construction equipment operating a quarry scene. Over 100 vendor booths sell kits, tools, new and used machinery, books, plans, trains, boilers, fasteners, lubricants, software and more. The event also hosts online and on‑site consignment auctions for tools, machinery, and model projects, plus live demonstrations and exhibitor showcases of finished models and collections. Admission is $20 for adults, $10 for teens, and free for children under 11, with a waterproof wristband badge for access.
