The sound of "big-band music" floats across Freedom Park's still lake, whose surface is reflected by the lights strung up from Camelot exhibition tents.As small children, with their faces painted, create their first artworks in a happy atmosphere, the scents of various foods fill the air. Other people find talented artists that can create a unique work of art for their home, or as a gift.The simple atmosphere and relaxed atmosphere is appealing to first-time visitors. Old-timers marvel at how fresh the offerings are each year, when they revisit memories of festivals from years ago. Even though I have my own children, I still enjoy going. Music, food and arts are all available. Charlotte does not have many great festivals. But this one has been around for a long time. Everyone loves it! I love looking at the art that local children have created. Local vendors sell items such as handcrafted jewelry or original art. It's a great place for your children to run, play and jump. You can either walk around the large lake or sit by it and observe local wildlife. There are plenty of families, children and adults to talk with. Festival in the Park has a lot to offer.
