Ameera moved from Columbus to Pittsburgh, Ohio in 2021. When she discovered the Om Lounge & Wellness Studio, she quickly felt at home. But she was no stranger to yoga. In 2018, she attended her first class at a bachelorette party. She was deeply moved by her teacher's ability to hold the space, kindness and meditative quality of the class. After that weekend, feeling inspired, she bought a yoga mat and a membership. Her yoga journey was born.
Ameera's passion for yoga grew as she navigated through life. Ameera completed the Om Lounge & Wellness RYT200 teacher training program to help her deepen her yoga practice and hold space for other people. Ameera's yoga practice focuses on creative flow with a touch of yoga philosophy. You can expect to arrive fully on your mat, and to be welcomed with opportunities to learn about yourself and your own body. Expect to have a lot of fun. She won't be expecting you to take her too seriously.
Ameera is a Category Manager in the procurement department of The Om Lounge. You can find Ameera exploring local coffee shops or planning her next trip when she's not practicing.
