53rd anniversary weekend - December 13th to 15th, 2020. BMW Dallas Marathon Festival.
Dallas White Rock Marathon, a nonprofit organization that promotes health and fitness through running and other activities. The history of this organization, which was founded in 1971, has seen tremendous growth. It produces the BMW Dallas Marathon - Dallas' largest marathon and Texas' longest running one - as well as other weekend running events and walking options, including a Half Marathon and 50K Ultra Marathon.
The BMW Dallas Marathon Festival's courses showcase the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods and entertainment districts, as well as iconic Dallas landmarks. The BMW Dallas Marathon Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of Decemeber. Tens of thousands of people line the streets to cheer the participants of this race, which is the official marathon of Dallas.
The BMW Dallas Marathon Festival donated over $4 million since 1997 to Scottish Rite for Children.
