Ovidius University of Constanţa is a public higher educational institution that was established in 1961. It was transformed into a comprehensive university by 1990. There are programs available in medicine, natural sciences, engineering, humanities, and law. It also offers theological and artistic studies. Ovidius University of Constanta has nationally and internationally-accredited programs at all levels of study. The bachelor's, masters, and doctoral degrees are recognized throughout the European Union and beyond. It is home to more than 15,000 students, with approximately 1200 international students.
