It will be held every 2 years after its launch. ABB, Ahlsell Airam Siemens Sonepar and other major players have already committed to participating in this event.Sahko-Electricity, a three-day fair, will feature a variety of solutions and services in electrical engineering. At the event, the green transition and rapid development of electrical technologies will be well-represented. The event will bring together importers, manufacturers and integrators as well as industry stakeholders.Sonepar CEO Mika Hoijer says that the Helsinki Metropolitan Area needs an international event in the electrical industry to bring together all players from designers, contractors, and procurement managers."Electrification and automation are today the key enablers for the green transition, both in the construction and industry sectors. We will showcase the latest technologies and solutions at the fair. "We believe the location and time will be the key to a successful event," says Mikko Makarainen, ABB Electrification Local Business Manager.The event is currently being developed with industry cooperation. The event will include a start-up zone, which will showcase the latest innovations in the industry.The facilities and expertise of the Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre will allow us to create special experiential and functional zones such as a charging street for electric cars and a smart city, as well parallel events related with electricity.
