The York Antiquarian Book Seminar is scheduled to run from Sunday, September 8, through Thursday, September 12, 2024. The York Antiquarian Book Seminar is an opportunity for experienced booksellers and libraries to share their knowledge and expertise with aspiring and new booksellers, librarians, and collectors.
Please contact us to inquire about advertising on our website and the printed Book Fair Catalogue 2024.We are happy to receive inquiries from trade stands that deal with books (bookbinders, other craftsmen, software developers, etc.) about exhibiting in the Trade Area of the Fair.
We regret that, for reasons of safety, no bags or overcoats (except small handbags) are permitted into the Book Fair. They can be checked in the cloakroom (for free). The security staff will check all books that were purchased at the Book Fair. They are placed in bags and secured with stickers. All small bags brought into the Fair will be checked upon entry and departure. We appreciate your cooperation. Visitors are not allowed to bring books into the Fair. Unfortunately, dogs other than guide dogs are not allowed in the venue.
The free shuttle buses for the September 2024 Fair will depart every 30 minutes from the Memorial Gardens Coach stand near the Station. They will start at 10.30am Friday morning and 9.30am Saturday. The traffic conditions at the time will determine the timing of the Fair. There are roadworks on Tadcaster Road that may affect travel times and turn-around times.
