The showcase will celebrate student capstone projects.
The College of Engineering, Design and Computing Capstone Design program is unique to all five departments. The capstone course is taken by each engineering student during their senior year. This course involves design, analysis, protoype and testing.Documentation for the product that they developed is also available.
The college hosts an annual Capstone Expo in the spring where all five departments present their projects. The college hosts an expo in the fall for civil engineering students who have a capstone experience that is only one semester long. The students compete for cash prizes donated by Donald and Karen White. ProjectsThe evaluation is based on the innovation, the quality of the product and the impact of design.
