For 2020, second and third place prizes will continue to be given in all categories, except for the category of Digital Food Influencer.
All food/health journalists from South Africa, including newspapers and credible online publications, are eligible for the Galliova egg Champion category.
All food/health writers from South Africa, including newspapers and credible online publications, are eligible for the GalliovaBroiler Champion category.
Media that have been working in the industry as a food/health writer for South African print or online publications for a minimum of four years are eligible to be considered for the Up & Coming Food/Health Writing of the Year.
This category is new for 2020. It will include South African digital food bloggers who were invited by the SAPA Galliova Committee, and two Galliova judges. In their entries, these digital food influencers must demonstrate creativity, knowledge of egg and/ or chicken recipes, and passion for food excellence.
