The FREE Engineering Expo, which is the flagship event of the Society of Women Engineers Wichita Professional Section (SWE), has been inspiring girls and boys with a range of STEM-related activities and concepts since 1998. STEM stands for science, mathematics, engineering and technology. We want to encourage the next generation to use STEM to better understand the world and to discover the possibilities.
The Society of Women Engineers launched the event in 1998.
Fundraising or sponsorship is the only way to raise money.
