Spanish Colonial Arts Society is pleased to once again be able to honor New Mexico's Hispanic artistic heritage by presenting the 70th Annual Traditional Spanish Market at Santa Fe Plaza.
Santa Fe Plaza is a place where Hispanic culture can be experienced. Visitors have the opportunity to meet some of the best Hispanic artists and share their knowledge about the traditional art forms at Traditional Spanish Market.
You will be able to establish a personal relationship with artists working in traditional art forms that have been passed down through generations.
You can rest assured that you will be purchasing a unique piece of art with a personal story. You may be able to commission a piece of art just for you, as you do every year at Market. This will start a long-lasting relationship.
You may meet artists you met at Youth Market who have since been accepted into Traditional Market. Every year, Youth Market features dozens of young artists mentored in their chosen art by Traditional Spanish Market adults.
These highly talented youth are eager to sell their work and will be happy to explain the inspiration and process behind their unique pieces. Many collectors are proud of their collection, which includes works by artists from both Youth Market and Traditional Spanish Market.
