The 18th IFAC Symposium on Information Control Problems in Manufacturing, INCOM 2024, aims to bring experts from different fields together to discuss the most recent advancements and challenges in twin transformation under the theme "sustainable transformation to autonomous manufacturing systems". The conference will focus on digital twinning, simulation, from both a design and an operation perspective, for sustainable manufacturing and logistics networks. It will also address virtualization, global production, autonomous and self learning systems, data driven industrial engineering, Industry 5 strategies, models and technologies.
Additionally, the conference will cover topics such as operations management in adaptive and accessible factories, the latest trends in enterprise modeling and information systems, knowledge management, cyber-physical-social production systems, new trends in human-robot collaboration and interactive chatbot systems especially in reliability, maintenance, and safety applications, engineering economic and resilience management, blockchain applications in supply chain management, and global crises impact on sustainable manufacturing. The conference provides a platform for scientists, students, practitioners and industry experts to exchange their ideas and knowledge about sustainable manufacturing and supply-chain management.
