The 16th Annual National Disability Summit is returning to Melbourne, 19-20 August 2024. The 16th Annual National Disability Summit is an important event for disability service providers and leaders in the industry. It will not only be a forum for discussing the NDIS, but it will also address broader issues and concerns for the Australian disability sector. The heart of the matter - How can we support people with disabilities and their families better to maximise independence and participate by creating more choice?
We evolve and grow the event each year in response to the feedback and needs of the industry, ensuring a platform objective for networking and discussion. We take pride in listening to our audience, and developing an agenda based on their requests, suggestions, and submissions.
The audience is made up of NDIS service providers, senior executives, community care organizations, support coordinators and people with disabilities. Other participants include representatives from state & federal governments, councils across the country, NDIS representatives, aged-care facilities, and aged-care providers.
Informa Australia's program will be non-biased and in line with the current events within the disability industry. The event will focus on the most relevant topics of this year: sustainable disability employment; housing, health care, government role and inclusive communities.
