Hongkong International Coin Convention & Antique Watch Fair has been a major player in the Asian coin and banknote markets for over 40 years. Hongkong International Coin Convention was founded in 1982 by Ma Tak Wo. In 1991, the Hongkong International Coin Convention & Antique Watch Fair took over the name. HICC has become the largest and most diverse duty-free coin and watch show in the area, and the oldest one in Hong Kong. The event is popular with collectors and traders from more than 20 countries and regions. It attracts visitors all over the globe. The HICC has been organised and managed since Mr. Ma retired in 2018. A new team, consisting of Mr. Sam Hung and Mr. Simon Wong, is now responsible for the event. They have extensive experience from managing their own events such as the Hong Kong Watch Guild Show.
