The technical program organizing committee is looking for presentations between 20 and 25 minutes. Delegates and speakers can earn professional development hours.Pittsburgh, with several coal mines within driving distance of each other, is an ideal location for the U.S. Coal Show. Many mining suppliers are headquartered in this thriving city. The U.S. Coal Show is reserving blocks of rooms at discounted rates at both the Marriott Courtyard and Westin. Pittsburgh's airport is an excellent facility and easily accessible.Nearly 1,200 coal mining professionals are registered to attend the U.S. Coal Show in 2023. This includes 350 mining delegates, from companies such as Allegheny Metallurgical (Alternative Resource Partners), American Consolidated Natural Resources(ACNR), Arch Resources Blue Mountain Energy CONSOL Energy Coronado Global Resources Corsa Coal Iron Senergy Prairie State Generating Co. Wolverine Fuels and Warrior Met.In 2023, 65 suppliers occupied 18,900 sq ft to showcase the latest technology and equipment for coal mining. The manufacturers brought more equipment, including five shields and two shield haulers. They also brought a locomotive, mantrips, a locomotive and ancillary items.The U.S. Coal Show in 2025 will be held midweek on June 3-5. Pittsburgh is at its best during the summer.
