Ente Fiera Promoberg, a trade fair organisation, was established in Bergamo in 1984. Its purpose is to organize trade fairs and other events that support the socio-economic and cultural development in Bergamo.
It organizes fairs of international and national significance and also manages the Creberg Teatro Bergamo, a medium-sized theatre (1,500 seats), active in music, comedy, and operetta.
Promoberg is committed to building productive relationships between the business world, institutions and civil society. We aim to build local and national networks that are in tune with society's needs and expectations.
The Institution has been active in the promotion and support of important cultural and social events in Bergamo over the years.
The current bylaw was reviewed in part in January 2019, and the amendments were approved by appropriate Regional Resolution in May 2019.
The organization is still configured as a non-profit Recognized Association, having as corporate purpose the “non-profit promotion and organization of exhibitions, putting in place the most appropriate promotional activities for the economic, social and cultural development of the business sectors concerned; for this purpose it is equipped with an adequate technical and organizational structure.
