Our application to redevelop Ramla Bay Resort has been approved by the Planning Authority. This means that our project is now possible to take flight!
The works will be concentrated in front our existing reception at the Atrium Wing. We will be closing the Atrium Wing for three months because of these works.
We closed our doors immediately after the last guests checked out on 1 November 2022. We will reopen and welcome guests on the 9th of February 2023.
It is expected that the project will be complete by summer 2024. Three new buildings will be added to the Atrium Wing. The distinctive atrium design and indoor garden concept, which has quickly become synonymous with Ramla Bay Resort, will be featured in each building.
We will continue to use the Atrium Wing's guest rooms and amenities until then, just as in 2022. For summer 2023, however, all three of our outdoor swimming pools will be back in operation.
Rest of the Resort will be a construction area. It is already separated and enclosed for safety and aesthetic reasons.
There will be four tower cranes on the site when we reopen in February 2023. Tower cranes will be visible from some guest rooms and views. They will be taken down mid-2024. Because these rooms overlook the Mediterranean Sea and face Gozo and Comino, the works won't be visible from many of them.
