Alden Biesen, a 16th century castle in Belgium, is located in Rijkhoven, municipality of Bilzen in Limburg.

Today, the castle serves as a conference and cultural centre. There are festivals such as the International Story Festival or the Scottish Weekend. There are also \"European Classes\", which promote international learning and collaboration among students. The European Pipe Band Championships, which took place in September 2003, was the first ever RSPBA Major Pipe Band Championship to be held outside of the UK.

The complex also includes a moated castle and a church.

The Landcommanderij Alden Biesen was founded by the knights of the Teutonic order in the 11th century. However, the current buildings were built between the 16th- and 18th centuries. It was home to a bailiwick, or province, of the Teutonic Order located in the region between the Maas and Rhine. The building was destroyed by fire on 8 March 1971. It was then acquired by the government for restoration.
