Arena Vanersborg is an indoor arena located in Vanersborg (Sweden). It can be used for concerts, bandy and other events.
The arena is home to IFK Vanersborg. It hosted the 2013 Bandy World Championship [1] where Division A and Section B were separated events for the second consecutive year, and the 2019 Bandy World Championship.
The arena can be reached by car or by Västtrafik buses (bus stops Sportcentrum or Tenggrenstorp).
Due to the high cost overrun, the arena has attracted a lot of attention from local media. Although the city approved a cost just above SEK 100m, the final cost was approximately SEK 230m (USD 28million at 2009 exchange rate).
