Don Felder is back in control with his first solo album for seven years. American Rock 'n' Roll is a collection of 11 rock songs with a mix of thoughtful, touching ballads. Felder will be performing live at the International Theater in 2024.
Don Felder has been a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame since 1998, when he was inducted along with the Eagles. In 2016, he was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, Nashville. He also received the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2017. Felder was with The Eagles for 27 years. They are the owners of the best-selling album in history, Their Greatest Hits (71-1975), that has sold more than 38 million copies.
Don Felder, who left the Eagles in 2001, has built an impressive solo career. He has released two full-length albums: 1983's sonically stunning Airborne, and 2012's Road to Forever, a multifaceted song cycle treatise. Felder's impressive resume was boosted when his 2008 memoir Heaven and Hell, My Life in the Eagles (1974-2001) became a New York Times bestseller.
