Lorem Ipsum, or dummy text in the typesetting and printing industry, is just that. Lorem Ipsum is the industry standard for dummy texts since the 1500s. An unknown printer scrambled a galley to create a type specimen. The dummy text has remained essentially the same for five centuries and through electronic typesetting. In the 1960s, Letraset sheets with Lorem Ipsum sections were released. More recently, desktop publishing software such as Aldus PageMaker includes versions of Lorem Ipsum.
Hong Kong faces both challenges and opportunities due to the rapid changes that are occurring in society, economy and environment. These include demographic shifts, economic reorganization, extreme weather and technological revolution. Faced with these challenges, we must work with different sectors of the society and adopt innovative solutions to create a sustainable Hong Kong.
Hong Kong Council of Social Service has been creating social impact for over 70 years. The "S+ Summit and Expo", which will be held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 2nd and 3, this year, will bring together more than 5,000 stakeholders in different sectors, to discuss local and region social issues within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals. Over 140 social welfare organisations, social enterprises and impact businesses are showcasing their solutions to social issues. We hope "S+" will promote stakeholder collaboration, create social impact (Social Impression), and promote Hong Kong’s sustainable development.
