The 6th Swiss Automotive Show in 2023 will bring together 120 exhibitors with 5,193 visitors to Fribourg. The next edition of the important trade show for the Swiss automobile industry is set to take place in the near future.
The Swiss Automotive Show (SAS), which began its run in September, confirmed its position as the leading event for companies involved in vehicle maintenance and repairs. The Forum Fribourg was visited by 5,193 people.
The SAS of this year was special, as it marked the debut of Derendinger's new visual identity, which will now unite the activities of Technomag Matik Normauto Klaus and Derendinger. The 120 exhibitors and their new brand world attracted much interest. However, after the 6th SAS it was unclear when or where the next SAS will take place.
Sebastien Moix explained to AGVS media in October: "The Forum Fribourg has changed its strategy which makes an SAS impractical under the current circumstances." Karl Heusi is the CEO of Derendinger. He explained that "we are looking for a suitable location.".
Location and date are now set: the Swiss Automotive Show will move from Fribourg, Switzerland to Bern in 2024.
