Jim Shockey, a Canadian outdoor writer and professional outfitter of big game, is also a TV producer and host who has hosted many hunting shows. Shockey was the former host and producer of Jim Shockey’s Hunting Adventures Jim Shockey’s Uncharted and Jim Shockey’s The Professionals, all on Outdoor Channel. Outdoor Life magazine called Shockey "the most accomplished hunter in the modern age, with the ability to take the largest number of free-range species." He was also called "the most powerful celebrity in the world of big-game hunting.".
