I saw a few of my coworkers post a listing on this site, so I decided to add my own experience. The focus here is on cutting costs. Classroom equipment broken? Repairs are too expensive. You need a teacher's copy of the book. You can search for a book and download a pdf file. You need a good apartment. They can only offer an apartment with a brothel (yes, really) downstairs that keeps teachers up all night. The situation has gotten so bad, that they no longer order paper towels for bathrooms and serve teachers their food cold every day. The children often ask for more food after they have a snack. The schedule is constantly changing, which makes it even more expensive. They have to stop everything and copy what another school does. The focus is on the extravagant Broadway shows that are put on. Teachers will spend money that they need to buy essentials for their classrooms on fog machines, snow machines, dry ice and lighting. Here, it's all about the appearance. The lobby has been redone multiple times, while our classroom is abandoned because the ceiling collapsed. The job listing on eslcafe was a complete lie. Preparation times are minimal and pay is not what is advertised. The school boasts that it has put staff in charge of "PR", who write fake greenlist reviews. Stay away from this school.
