In Asia, the rehabilitation industry has made great progress towards the future. Messe Dusseldorf Co., Ltd. upgraded REHACARE SHANGHAI, originally scheduled to take place in Shanghai, into REHACARE CHINA, and relocated the trade show to Suzhou. James, how is it going with topics like rehabilitation and disability?James Zhang : Rehabilitation of people with disabilities took off in China during the "13th Five Year Plan". The national medical and healthcare enterprise's overall plan included disability prevention and rehabilitation, as well as the strategy for a healthier China. This plan also includes basic rehabilitation services for disabled people. The demand for rehabilitation services has also increased due to the rapid ageing of the population, as well as the increasing awareness about health among the people. According to statistics and research from "The Lancet", China is the country that has the highest demand for rehabilitation in the world. What role does REHACARE CHINA have in this development? James Zhang: The trade show will promote the rehabilitation industry and help integrate people with disabilities into society.
