Slow Wine Coalition representatives, an inclusive, collaborative, and international network of wine industry leaders, attended several events in Spain.
First, there was the Most Festival held in the Spanish Penedes. Most is a European event that brings together the best audiovisual productions related to wine, cava and vineyard culture. The festival also toasts good cinema by screening films from great directors who haven't been commercially released. The festival has a wide range of films, from the story of the vineronnes who lived on top of Etna, to the ancient Portuguese history of wine production in anphoras, and even the fight between a group catalan winemakers and the local DOP.
The festival is located in the Penedes and, since 2016, also in Priorat. Both have a rich wine culture and many wine tourism attractions. It aims to promote the arts and wine cultures by creating audiovisual works, as well as oenology in all its aspects.
