The Galesville Apple Affair in Trempealeau county is a big event.
Apple Affair began in 1983 to help promote Wisconsin's apple orchards. It continues to attract people from all over the region. The Trempealeau County Fairgrounds is located at 19780 Park Drive, Galesville.
The four-season oven will bake our famous 10-foot apple pies. From Noon to the end of the day, pie slices will be sold. Music will be played throughout the day for everyone to enjoy. This year's Quilt Show is back for its 4th anniversary.
You will find everything you need here. Apple pie, apple cake and caramel apples will be available from local growers. Also, apple cider and apple juice, and bags of apples are also on offer. All day, you can also get other Fair food.
In 2022, a Pancake Breakfast will be held from 8-11am and a Beer Garden.
The fairgrounds are filled with a wide variety of products from our artists and craftspeople. They offer everything from handmade jewelry, soaps, and lotions, to seasonal decor, hand-painted furniture, and woodworking craft/furniture, to fiber art, (crocheted or knitted), cottage-made specialties, and so much more.
The Apple Affair Bike Tour is a very popular activity. Bicyclists from all over the world spend the majority of the day riding through the apple orchards in Galesville and the surrounding area. This "Garden of Eden", with its spectacular scenery, is perfect for a family event. 42 cyclists rode through the orchards on the 28,7-mile loop that began in downtown Galesville. This bike tour is becoming more popular and depending on the weather in some years over 200 cyclists have taken part. This year, we are offering a self guided bike tour.
