I am delighted to welcome you to IFTDO's 50th Human Resources Development World Conference and Exhibition which will take place in EGYPT from 22-24 April 2024, in the captivating City of Cairo. The conference theme is "Redesigning Future" which is dominating the thoughts of HRD professionals around the world.
This theme was chosen to be a revival and reinterpretation of the Silver Jubilee theme "Designing the Future", which was celebrated in Cairo 1996. The theme was revisited to reflect the many changes in the world, which affected the Training Industry and Development Activities.
As we live in a time of rapid and severe change, it is more important than ever to discuss the future. People in HR are looking at social developments, consumer behaviour, digital transformation, emerging technologies and COVID 19. These changes will affect and change the way businesses and people are managed.
Many variables should be taken into consideration when designing the future.
This conference will not be an ordinary event, as it will mark the Golden Jubilee (50th Anniversary) of IFTDO. This conference will have a glamorous and special feel to it because of the planned celebrations. This will be a chance to look back at the 50-year history of IFTDO and to take a positive view into the future, defining its role for the next decades.
