Show: Tampa Convention Center, Sept. 11 (Wed), through Sept. 14 (Sat), 2020.
What I remember from a discussion on the show that I was able to observe. I didn't take notes, so my memory is what I'm going on. The final (or actual) information could vary.This is another new show that I will be watching to see how it goes (probable attendance). Larry Shepherd distributed information at the Baltimore show and encouraged people to sign up for a new coin event in Tampa. The same convention center as the winter FUN show in the past.
The dates of the public show are September 12, 13, 14, (Thurs. Fri. Sat.) 2024. Wednesday is the day of the dealers. The first part (AM until early afternoon) will be a dealer's day with an additional charge if you also want your table there. Later in the afternoon, the setup for the dealers will take place. Thursday is the day of the public show. I didn't hear anything about early bird pricing, hours, or any other information.
The contract rates for all hotels (including a couple of hotels near the convention center) were under $200.
This date was stated to be the week following the Long Beach Show (Sept. 5 - 7, 2020). The best date(s) available were stated. The future dates of the show would be more aligned to existing dates...I think that Sept. Long Beach is not held on the same week every year. It can vary from the first week after the holiday to the middle week of September to the last week of September (like last year). Baltimore is also similar, as it changes from early November until late October. I'm curious or wondering where this show might be located or if the location could change between these two shows. All of this assumes that it continues to be successful. Another unknown is IMEX and if the show will continue in this two-month timeframe.
