He will be missed. Rob was born East Tilbury Village, and started working at the Osborne Farm during the 1950s.Rob has been involved with the Orsett Show since the 1950s. He first focused on the agricultural side, and later as the Ground Controller. This role required many hours to order fencing, marquees, and get the site ready for Show Day. Rob passed the torch to his son Clive in recent years, but Rob and Cynthia both remained strong advocates for the Show.
