The West Virginia Pumpkin Festival has been held in Milton since 1986, and has grown to be one of the largest festivals in the state. The festival was created to assist farmers in the growing and selling of pumpkins. Milton, WV is located between Huntington, WV and Charleston along the I-64 Corridor. The festival draws attention from all over the region. Milton hosts a pumpkin festival every October that attracts more than 48,000.
Milton Performing Arts Center was opened in 2011. The Milton Performing Arts Center is located in the WV Pumpkin Park and is only 5 minutes away from I64. Milton P.A.C. has a seating capacity for 600 people, a concession area, accessible handicapped restrooms and ample free parking. The Milton P.A.C. offers a variety of programs to entertain, educate, and enrich the diverse population in the region. These programs also enhance the economic vitality and diversity of Western West Virginia. We want to expose as many people as possible to quality arts performances and the arts.
