Friends of the Oak Park Public Library > Friends Book FairttttFriends Book FairThe Friends of the Oak Park Public Library Book Fair will be returning to the Main Library on the weekend of July 12-14.There is a parking garage underground (with two free hours) and an elevator.VolunteerThe main library will host a training session for Our Friends volunteers on Wednesday, 15 May from 7-8pm. Join us to support our 52nd Sale! The Friends will share what's new for this year, and the available dates/times to volunteer. Water will be provided. Bring a dessert for sharing. Plus... order and preview this year's shirt!DonateThe Friends of the Library and Friends do not accept donations at this time. The Main Library will only be accepting donations for the 2024 Annual Book Fair.Do you only have a few things? Bring in your items and place them on the tables in the Main Library Lobby.Do you have a lot of things? Drop off your items at the loading dock of the library on Saturdays from June 1 to June 29 between 9 am and 1 pm. Volunteers from the Friends will help unload cars.ShopThe Main Library, located at 834 Lake St. in Oak Park, will host a special event on:All welcome on Fridays, from 9 am to 5:30 pmAll welcome on Saturdays, from 9 am to 4:30 pmFair volunteers only on Sunday from Noon to 2 pmAll welcome, 2-4pmFree items are available for local nonprofits, teachers, Little Free Library Stewards and fair volunteers.Fill up a grocery tote with your choice of products for only $10 per bag.Before June 1,We suggest that you use the Open Books collection bin located in the alley north of the Main Library, 834 Lake St., if you can't wait until the fair and want to donate books, movies and music now. Magazines, textbooks older that five years and general reference material such as encyclopedias or books in poor conditions are not accepted.Our Friends >>.
