After much thought, we made the difficult choice to sell the OSMF Homestead and postpone the festival to 2025.
We've had six wonderful years on the property, but we have decided it's too big for us. Therefore, we plan to sell it. We may keep the festival at the property, or we might look for other locations that have camping and more infrastructure.
We are grateful for those who had the vision to grow the organization and include property ownership. However, we must do what's in the best interests of our 501(c), nonprofit organization to preserve this legacy and to continue the festival another 36 years!
We are confident that the family will accept a new place as they have done in the past. We have actually held the festival in four different locations during our 36-year history.
Over the next 12 months, we will continue to offer opportunities for people to come together to share their love of music, and to build community, whether at the property, while it's on the market or somewhere else.
