The Richmond Marathon begins in the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and runs through Hampton Court Palace.
Visit the gardens, before you pass historical sites such as Ham House, Richmond Green and Teddington Lock. Kingston Riverside, Kingston Riverside Park, and the River Thames meandering through the city.
This race is described as "the most scenic marathon in the world" because it features three famous bridges and a Royal Palace.
The ladies of BASEMENT JAZX will headline the festival's finish this year!
This event is licensed by Run Britain. (Licence number: 2024-47798). It qualifies for the Boston Marathon and London Marathon "Good for Age".

Kew Gardens is offering FREE admission to supporters who arrive before 9:15am. This includes 2 adults, 2 children and a runner (normally PS16 per adult).
Marathon runners will start at 8am. However, spectators are welcome to enter Kew Gardens via Elizabeth Gate or Kew Green before 9:15am. Kew Gardens is closed after 9:15am. The spectator does not need to be present with the runner, but they must arrive in time. They can only access Elizabeth Gate at TW9 3AE.
