Understanding Rainforests for Young Minds.
Dear visitor, always remember to take care of the environment. Rainforests are amazing places full of life, and they need our help to stay healthy. A rainforest is a thick jungle where it rains a lot. These wonderful forests have many tall trees and are home to a huge variety of plants and animals, more than anywhere else on Earth!
One important thing to know is that rainforests have different layers. The highest is called the emergent layer with the tallest trees, followed by the canopy layer where most of the animals live. Below that, there's the understory where young trees and bushes grow. Finally, at the bottom is the forest floor, which is dark and damp, and covered with leaves. In these layers, you can find cool creatures like colorful birds, monkeys, sloths, and even insects that glow in the dark.
